Join or Start a Local Group for Your Area

As you may have noticed, "E-bikes For People Over 50" is becoming a large group. There are currently tens of thousands of members, and we are adding approximately 1,500 additional members each week. These members are scattered across the globe. We have worked very hard to keep the community free of spam and the content on topic.

It's become a classic case of small fish in a big pond. A large group like this is extremely beneficial if you're looking to solve issues with your bike, or recommendations for accessories etc. For those reasons, a large group can benefit almost everyone.

With that said, small groups of members who live in a specific geographic area, can benefit even more. Connecting with others in your area allows you to plan events, share local information such as riding trails, share local resources, hookup for rides, or any number of things which are specific to your area. Even if you're not the social type to meet others in-person, having a local platform for discussion for your area is far more beneficial than having a discussion with someone from another state or continent.

E-bikes Over 50, currently offers a local group platform almost identical to Facebook where you can post comments, pictures, recommendations, events etc. Like Facebook, there are no fees. The only requirement is for you to join and participate to keep it interesting for everyone. This is not meant to replace or minimize your participation in our larger Facebook group. The purpose of the local groups is to enhance community and share within your community.

As stated previously, there is no cost, and only takes seconds to join. You can search for an existing group for your area, and if there are none in your area, you can create a new group. You can use the larger Facebook group to post a link to your local group to grow your membership.

Below is a link to our tutorial on how to get started.
